Danny McPhail

Danny had discovered a passion for leading worship when he began to lead at his Father's church, New Hope Community Church, when he was just 15 years old.  Danny continued to lead untill he graduated High School in 2003, when he went on to attend Junior College and then Azusa Pacific University.  It was during this time at college that Danny began to struggle in his relationship with God as well as what the vision for his future should be.  He heard about the New Life School of Worship and after talking with his parents decided that he needed to take some time off from college and attend the program.

Danny came to New Life in the fall of 2005 and was determined to get as much out of the school year that he possibly could.  It was during the 10-months spent in the program that his Christian life exploded.  Danny became more leadership oriented and was stretched musically and spiritually.  The culture of New Life Church became a catalist of renewed faith and a refreshing of the calling on Danny's life to become a worship leader.

Also, in September of 2005 he met Alison, the girl of his dreams who at the time was serving the worship department of New Life Church.  Danny graduated in June of 2006 and they were married on November 18th, 2006.

Over the next several months Danny became involved in the Furnace, another collegiate internship at New Life Church, and he began looking for Worship Pastor positions around the country.  In January of 2007 he received a call from an Associate Pastor at Bayside Church in California (church home for Lincoln Brewster's worship ministry) saying that they were looking at filling a worship leader position for the high school and college groups. Within a couple of months the McPhails were off to Califonia where they are now faithfully fulfilling the calling that God has placed on their lives.
